Learn Mixing & Mastering
Learn Music Production
I teach both beginners, who just started making music and don’t really have the knowledge and more advanced musicians, who already know their weak points they want to improve.
The lessons are held on Discord – a free audio and video communication software. Please download and install it before the lesson.
After scheduling a lesson you’ll receive an invite link, which will allow you to acces you the Wodzu Beats Lessons server.
The lesson can be either me showing you my screen and explaining things or you showing me your screen and me guiding you to do things. We can also have a regular video chat with a Q&A session.
Lessons are paid in advance, at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Lack of the payment will result in cancelling the lesson.
To pay for a lesson just click the “Pay for the lesson” button at the bottom of that page. If you want to get more than 1 hour you’ll be able to change that amount in the cart.
The maximum length of a single lesson is 3 hours. Your ears and brain won’t function properly after that time 😉
Mixing is a process involing fitting all the tracks stems together, changing volume, tone and the sound image. A mixed song has all its elements set in a correct place, so they’re not arguing with each other, resulting in a clear sounding, pleasant in listening finished song.
Mastering is a process that comes after mixing and its job is to adjust the final song volume to applicable standards, so it doesn’t stand out among other songs. It also involves adding detail to the sound and cleaning out all the unwanted frequencies that cause trouble, so your song becomes the best possible.
I’m working on Cockos Reaper, but the lessons aren’t limited to that software. I teach people using FL Studio, Ableton Live, Steinberg Cubase, Presonus Studio One and Logic Pro.
